KGHM is a Polish multinational corporation, which has risen to the well-deserved position of a global mining industry leader. The company engages in the extracting and processing of valuable natural resources with the largest European deposits of copper ore and facilities on three continents.

Working with global leaders requires from our design team exceptional attention to detail, designing process, material selection and sophisticated interpretation of their branding and company culture.

KGHM as a worldwide leader in copper and silver production allowed us to design their new office space in Shanghai.

Client history and culture inspired us to create an office space full of natural finishes, contrast materials and metallic copper and silver accents.

The entrance zone containing the logo wall, display area and the meeting room was designed to achieve the effect of open, bright full of natural light space with strong design accents. Natural marble floor with irregular lines represents topography lines of mine levels. Copper display box hung on glass elevation of the meeting room levitates in the space presenting the stone collection of valuable resources. Black semitransparent partitions divide the space into external and internal functions without blocking the light but giving privacy to employees.
